Nokia 6 3GB RAM smartphone gets second price cut in less than a month
Nokia has announced a second price cut for its Nokia 6 3GB RAM variant. Incidentally, the same handset received a price cut in March as well.

The Nokia 6 3GB RAM has earlier received a price cut of Rs 1,500 and brought its price down from Rs 14,999 to Rs 13,499. And now, it has further received a price cut of Rs 500 making the price of 12,999.


The new price is already reflecting on Amazon India website.

Readers must note that Nokia is scheduled to launch its 2018 line up of smartphones on April 4, where it is expected to launch its successor, Nokia 6 (2018).

In terms of specs, the Nokia 6 has a 5.5-inch full HD display with 1080×1920 pixel resolution. It has a layer of Corning Gorilla Glass 3 on top. The device received the Oreo update this year, is powered by an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 430 processor and offers 32GB internal storage.

For camera, the device has a 16MP rear camera with dual LED flash and sports an 8MP camera on the front. Backed by a 3,000mAh battery, it offers 4G, VoLTE, 3G, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS and USB OTG as connectivity options.

The Nokia 6 (2018) shares a few specs as its predecessor. It has the same display, battery, camera and storage options. It differs in terms of operating system as the Nokia 6 (2018) is now part of Google’s Android One initiative. Also, the processor has been upgraded to 2.2 GHz octa-core Cortex A53 Qualcomm Snapdragon 630. It even differs in dimensions. The Nokia 6 measures 7.8×75.8×154 mm whereas, the Nokia 6 (2018) measures 8.6×75.8×148.8 mm.

Besides Nokia 6 (2018), the company is also expected to launch the Nokia 7 Plus and the flagship Nokia 8 Sirocco on April 4. Even though the company launched the reimagined Nokia 8110 or the ‘banana’ phone along with these back in February, it is not expected to make its way to India.
